I joined Textured Jersey in 2001 as a Dyeing Associate. I worked for about 3 years in this position and learned a lot about the dyeing process and about machines as well. I worked hard and the TJ management, recognising my hard work, subsequently promoted me to Team Leader of the same department. It was a great experience for me to practice a leadership role in a company like TJ. During that time I had the opportunity to participate in a lot of TJ training programmes and I worked my best for TJ. After being a Team Leader for about 3 years, the Textured Jersey management decided to promote me to Dyeing Executive. Now it’s about 3 years since then, and I am really happy to work at Textured Jersey Lanka.
